NEAQA has became full member of CEENQA

On May 15, 2020, National Entity for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education (NEAQA) has became a full member of the Central and Eastern European Higher Quality Assurance Agency Network (CEENQA).

In March of 2020, NEAQA officially applied for membership to the Central and Eastern European Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (CEENQA).

CEENQA is a non-governmental, non-profit organization which unites quality assurance agencies across the Central and Eastern Europe. The Network aims to support cooperation in the field of quality assurance and quality improvement in higher education in Central and Eastern Europe by fostering the collaboration between the members. To become the Network member, the agencies have to comply with the internationally recognized standards and guidelines for quality assurance in higher education, such as Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG 2015).

CEENQA membership gives the opportunity to NEAQA to closely collaborate with the Network member agencies, to get involved in ongoing discussions on the quality assurance policy of higher education institutions and study programmes in the European region, to participate in joint projects, and to share experience with the member agencies. Central and Eastern European Network of Quality Assurance Agencies presents an important platform for the internationalization of the quality assurance system in higher education and has affiliated status in European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA).
