2nd Workshop Held Under the SEQA-ESG2 Project

The second workshop under the SEQA-ESG2 project took place in Brussels on October 16-17 at the premises of the Flemish Higher Education Council – Quality Assurance (VLUHR QA). This activity aims to facilitate the exchange of experiences and challenges faced by all participating agencies in aligning with the European Standards and Guidelines (ESG), with NEAQA participating as a project partner.

Representatives from NEAQA, including Secretary Janko Balšić and International Cooperation Officer Emilia Knežević, attended the event on both days. Other workshop participants included representatives from agencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina (HEA), the Republic of Srpska (AHERS), Azerbaijan (TKTA), and Ukraine (NAQA) as associated partners, along with ENQA representatives and two experts from Portugal (A3ES) and Austria (AQ Austria). The workshop also featured online contributions from Tamara Ciobanu representing the European Students’ Union (ESU) and Gregor Rebernik from SQAA in Slovenia.

During the workshop, participants discussed the key role of peer-review experts in the quality assurance process within ESG 2.4. The agenda included expert presentations, sharing of best practices, and exploration of challenges in implementing Standard 2.4. Participants also engaged in practical sessions to collaboratively develop training systems tailored to their agencies’ needs.
